Jenny Newman was absolutely delighted to receive her prize of the wheelbarrow full of gardening goodies which was raffled at A Blooming Affair, held on 1 October. She would also like to thank her gardener, Norman Zondi, for his hard work in her garden.

Congratulations to Bridgid Hamilton-Russell (Matric 1977) who recently won Gold for the individual Laser-Run and Gold for the Mixed Team relay in Portugal.
Bridgid says, “I want to take this chance to thank and acknowledge the class of 1977 who banded together to get me to the World Championship in Florida where I aim to compete for South Africa later this year. ”
Congratulations to Prianka Pillay (Matric 2009) (third Dan) who won the KWF world kata senior champion for the second time, and also for taking third place in the female world kumite senior championship. This is a wonderful achievement!
Congratulations to Lauren Son (Matric 2006) who recently passed her MSc in Veterinary Sciences with distinction at the University of Pretoria.
