On 22 May SAORA had the privilege of hosting Carey Haouach and Lindsay McTeague at a Networking Breakfast and Book Launch. They were in Johannesburg to promote the biography of their mother, Sheena Duncan, co-founder of the Black Sash. They chatted to us about the recently published book but the focus was more on what it was like growing up with such a remarkable mother, and on Sheena’s extraordinary contribution to our country. What remarkable Old Girls the Duncan family were and are! These women are true examples of ‘living lives of significance’ .
